We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our growing team.

The position will be responsible for the delivery of a variety size of projects managing from start to finish.

​

Key responsibilities for this role are but not limited to:

​

  • Site visits and client liaison to understand the scope, risks, and hazards of work to be undertaken.

​

  • Planning and execution of assigned schemes to ensure delivery with budget, planned timescales and to the required level of quality.

​

  • Development of project timelines and the ongoing maintenance thereof.

​

  • Liaison with designers (internal and/or external) to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose, cost effective and can be constructed, operated and maintained safely.

​

  • Undertaking QA checks of drawings and issuing technical submittals.

​

  • Liaising with Project Managers, Senior Project Manager and Contracts Manager to discuss required resources.

​

  • Regular communication with the Site Managers/Supervisors to ensure project plans and timetables are communicated, agreed and committed to.

​

  •  Management of subcontractors.

​

  • Generation and creation of Site Health and Safety Plan Folder including RAMS.

​

  • Ensuring that the project is carried out to the client’s specifications.

​

  •  Comply with City M&E Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems.

​

  • Taking part with internal project meetings and reports.

​

Essential:

​

  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering

​

  • CSCS or ECS Card

 

Desirable:

​

  • First Aid at Work – 1 or 3 day

​

  • SMSTS

​

  • Experience working within the commercial, industrial and healthcare sectors

​
